GREEN, Lloyd

(b 4 Oct. '37, Mobile AL) Steel guitarist, one of Nashville's busiest session musicians. Began on Hawaiian guitar at age seven; in teens played in honky tonks. To Nashville '57, joined Faron Young; next decade on the road with George Jones, Roger Miller, Roy Drusky etc. Since '64 sessioned with Young, Elvis Presley, Don Williams, Paul McCartney, Charley Pride, the Byrds, many others. Own records on Chart, Little Darlin', Monument, Epic etc incl.
