(b 11 June '39, Orlando FL) Pop-styled country singer. Left college mid-'60s, moved to Nashville to sing on demo tapes for a friend. Signed to Decca and hit country charts with "Baby' '65, "Misty Blue', "Don't Touch Me' '66, "Tear Time' '67. Joined Shamon Records '73, made duets with Bud Logan (ex-Jim Reeves's Blue Boys); on RCA '77-8 without much success. She discovered long-lost Patsy Cline tapes from Arthur Godfrey shows in her attic '93; the Nashville house had previously been Cline's.
