Lorrie and Larry, vocal duo mid-'50s: Lawrencine May Collins, b 7 May 1942 Tahlequah OK, d 4 August 2018; Lawrence Albert Collins, b 4 October 1944 Tulsa. They sang and played guitars at school, on West Coast radio in early teens. Signed to Columbia '55 for classic rockabilly singles such as 'Rock Away Rock', 'In My Teens', 'Rock Boppin' Baby', 'Hop Skip And Jump' '56-9. They never made the charts, but featured on Town Hall Party TV show '53-60, Grand Ole Opry '59, Steve Allen show, etc. They split '65 when Lorrie married promoter Stew Carnall and settled in Reno. Larry continued behind the scenes, co-writing 'Delta Dawn' ('72 pop/country hit), working as producer and publisher; became a pro golfer. Albums include boxed set Hop, Skip And Jump '92 on Bear Family.
