Lineup: Willie "Loco' Alexander (b '43) vocals, keyboards; Billy Loosigian (aka Mercer), guitar; Severin Grossman, bass; David McClean, drums. Alexander, veteran of Boston area groups (The Lost '64-6; briefly Velvet Underground '71), organized Boom Boom Band for local talent show, which they won. Appeared on Live At The Rat (compilation of Boston acts, '77); signed by MCA for two albums late '70s. |
